The Sprocks IR Generator requires IR codes for each device that it will be controlling. There are a number of ways that these codes can be obtained. Look through the options and instructions on this page for assistance in find the IR codes that you will need. A converter is available on this page to convert various code formats in the format needed for the IR Generator.
The Sprocks IR Database contains thousands of codes for many manufacturers and models. Look through the database looking either for the model number of your remote or the model number of your system component. The codes may be located in either place. If neither can be found, it may be that a model number similar to your will supply the codes that you need. Simply take the codes and send them to the IR Generator to see if they operate as expected.
A special html page is available for each device that can be used to send commands to the IR Generator. You may take this page for your use, however, the address of your IR Generator will need to be placed in this page. A replace command works well for performing this. These pages are text based and meant only to make it easier to test the commands with the device.
Enter The Database
Some remote controls have already be created specifically for the IR Generator. A list of these can be found at the following link. This list will be expanded as remotes are created either here at Sprocks or by customers that submit those that they have made. These remotes intend to duplicate as much of the functionality of their physical counterparts as possible. In some cases, they may deviate in some respect from the operation of the actual remote. Check the readme file with the remote for a list of any special issues that need to be considered.

The following links are to other sites that may have IR codes that you need. Other codes are likely to be in a format that's not compatible with the IR Generator.
